The company serves 500+ enterprise and high-growth customers and manages billions in financial value across thousands of stakeholders. Backed by leading global investors, the team operates with strong ownership, speed, and high execution standards.

About The Role

As a Principal Engineer, you will own and drive the engineering direction of the company while remaining deeply hands-on. You will work closely with a strong full-stack team, writing production-grade code while setting the technical bar across architecture, scalability, reliability, and security. This is a high-ownership leadership role requiring architectural depth, startup agility, and strong collaboration with executive leadership. What You’ll Do

• Hands-On Coding (50%) – Own full-stack epics/features end-to-end (React / Node / Postgres stack) from ideation to production.
• Technical Leadership (20%) – Guide architecture decisions, system design, DevOps (CI/CD, GCP, Kubernetes), and security practices (authentication, encryption, SOC2 basics).
• Mentoring & Code Quality (15%) – Conduct code reviews, pair-program with junior/mid-level engineers, and elevate overall engineering standards.
• Hiring & Team Building (5%) – Screen candidates, lead technical interviews, and contribute to scaling the engineering team.
• Product Strategy (10%) – Collaborate closely with CEO/Product leadership on roadmap prioritization, effort estimation, and execution planning.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience. Strong Series A/B startup exposure.
• Deep expertise in GCP.
• Core Ruby and React.
• Modern JS stack (React/Next.js, Node/Express). Postgres.
• Cloud infrastructure & DevOps tools.
• Strong system design and architectural thinking. Proven mentoring experience.
• Clear communication and strong ownership mindset.
• Indian startup ecosystem familiarity is a plus.
• ESOP/compliance domain exposure is an added advantage.
