Role Description The Preschool Teacher will manage a classroom of young children, delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities that support early learning and holistic development. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting interactive learning sessions, guiding play-based activities, maintaining classroom discipline in a caring manner, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. The role also involves observing and documenting children’s progress, communicating regularly with parents or guardians, and collaborating with colleagues to implement the preschool’s curriculum and events. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi, requiring consistent classroom presence and active participation in school routines.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and familiarity with Kindergarten-level learning expectations.
• Ability to design and implement effective Lesson Planning and contribute to Curriculum Development.
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues.
• Relevant certification or diploma in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or a related field.
• Patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach to teaching and classroom management.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Prior experience working with preschool or kindergarten-age children is preferred.
