Role Description The Centre Manager will oversee the daily operations of the preschool and daycare at the Varthur center in Bengaluru East in a full-time, on-site capacity. Responsibilities include managing admissions and parent communication, supervising teaching and support staff, and ensuring adherence to the international curriculum and safety protocols. The role involves scheduling and coordinating classroom and daycare activities, maintaining regulatory and compliance standards, and monitoring the overall learning environment. The Centre Manager will handle center administration, including record-keeping, fee follow-ups, and vendor coordination, while driving enrollment growth and maintaining high levels of family satisfaction. The position also requires regular reporting to management, implementing process improvements, and supporting staff training and development.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in Day Care and Childcare operations, with a focus on safety, well-being, and age-appropriate activities.
  • Knowledge of Early Childhood Development principles and best practices in preschool education.
  • Excellent Communication skills for engaging with children, families, and staff members.
  • Demonstrated ability and comfort in Working With Children in group settings, including managing behavior and supporting emotional development.
  • Prior experience managing a preschool or daycare center, or working in an education/childcare leadership role.
  • Graduate degree in education, early childhood education, child development, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple operational responsibilities.
  • Basic proficiency in administrative tasks, documentation, and use of computers and communication tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support center operations and special events.
