Pre-Sales Engineer - Pune

Interpret and analyze tender/RFP specifications and customer requirements to propose optimal solutions in consultation with the Business Development Manager.

Prepare detailed Techno-Commercial Offers including Bill of Materials (BOM), system-level costing, and solution narratives.

Design and document high-level system architecture in coordination with the engineering design team.

Draft technical proposals in line with defense specifications, including MIL-STD, EMI/EMC, and environmental test compliance documentation.

Interact with internal teams (Engineering, Purchase, Production, Quality, and Sales) to gather input and finalize project deliverables.

Maintain proper documentation: Lead Lists, bid trackers, proposal versions, and correspondence logs.

Skills Required

Knowledge of Drone System Architecture (UAV subsystems, sensors, communication links, ground control systems).

Exposure to Robotic Systems, including motion control, embedded controllers, and AI-based navigation

(preferred).

Ability to create system-level designs, define interfaces, and integrate hardware/software modules.

Proficiency in drafting Techno-Commercial Offers, cost estimation, and technical brochures.

Hands-on experience in uploading/downloading bids via E – Tenders, GeM,MoD, and other defense procurement portals.

Knowledge of defense procurement lifecycle, bid documentation, and commercial terms.

Customer-Facing Skills: Ability to communicate confidently and clearly with defense clients and technical

committees.
