Role Description The Pre Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons that build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. Day-to-day tasks include creating engaging classroom activities, using play-based and interactive teaching methods, assessing student progress, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. The teacher will communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student development, collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school events, and contribute to co-curricular activities that support holistic growth. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Roorkee, requiring active participation in school routines, assemblies, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Teaching, Elementary Education, and Education, with experience in early childhood or primary school settings.
• Competence in Curriculum Development, including creating lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments suitable for pre-primary learners.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and supportive manner.
• Relevant academic qualifications such as a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
• Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment and manage young children with patience, empathy, and consistency.
• Knowledge of child development principles, classroom management strategies, and basic educational technology is an advantage.
• Prior experience as a pre-primary or early years teacher, preferably in an English-medium or CBSE-aligned school, is desirable.
