Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee overall manufacturing operations of our Electronic Charger Manufacturing Unit. The candidate will be responsible for managing production efficiency, quality standards, manpower planning, and smooth coordination among SMT, MI, Assembly, and Moulding departments while ensuring optimum utilization of plant utilities and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end plant operations including SMT, MI, Assembly, and Moulding departments.
• Plan and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Ensure implementation of manufacturing processes as per quality and safety standards.
• Supervise manpower planning, productivity improvement, and workforce discipline.
• Monitor machine utilization, maintenance schedules, and downtime reduction.
• Ensure smooth functioning of plant utilities and tools (compressors, air lines, electrical systems, etc.).
• Implement cost control measures and process optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Purchase, and Engineering teams for uninterrupted production.
• Maintain compliance with ISO, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement activities like Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Prepare production reports, MIS.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Electronic Charger Manufacturing Processes.
• Hands-on experience in SMT Line, MI Line, Assembly Operations, and Moulding Processes.
• Knowledge of production planning, process improvement, and quality control.
• Understanding of plant utilities and maintenance management.
• Strong leadership, team handling, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Qualification

• B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in electronics/mobile charger or consumer electronics manufacturing industry.
• Ability to handle large production teams and multi-department operations.
• Result-oriented with strong operational and managerial capabilities.
