Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plant Head for Panel Building Industries, based in Delhi, India. The Plant Head will oversee end-to-end plant operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization for switchboards, bus ducts, and control panels. Responsibilities include managing production teams, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, monitoring budgets and costs, and coordinating with design, procurement, and sales for timely order execution. The role involves establishing performance targets, tracking production metrics, troubleshooting operational issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Plant Head will also mentor team members, enforce compliance with company policies and regulations, and support strategic decisions related to capacity, technology, and process upgrades.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in plant operations and production management, with demonstrated ability to lead manufacturing activities in panel building or related electrical industries.
• Proficiency in production planning and budgeting, including capacity planning, cost control, and efficient use of materials and manpower.
• Solid understanding of quality control principles, standards, and testing procedures for electrical panels and switchgear products.
• Experience in implementing process improvements, lean manufacturing practices, and safety protocols within a plant environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Proven leadership skills, including team management, conflict resolution, and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to analyze data, use production and ERP systems, and prepare clear operational reports for management.
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory workplace practices.
