Plant Head (CRGO division)

Job Summary

The Plant Head is responsible for the overall management and performance of the manufacturing plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of CRGO transformer laminations. The role includes production planning, quality assurance, process improvement, maintenance, inventory management, manpower development, customer delivery, and compliance with safety and statutory requirements while achieving business objectives.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• MBA (Operations) is an added advantage
  
  

Experience : - 15–20+ years in manufacturing operations.

• At least 8 years in a leadership role managing a CRGO transformer lamination plant or transformer core manufacturing facility
• Role :
• Key Responsibilities – Plant Head (CRGO Lamination Manufacturing)
• Oversee end-to-end plant operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets.
• Lead production planning and ensure timely execution of manufacturing schedules.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to maximize productivity.
• Drive quality standards, reduce rejections, and implement CAPA for continuous improvement.
• Improve manufacturing processes through Lean, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and OEE initiatives.
• Ensure preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Manage inventory, material flow, and procurement coordination for uninterrupted production.
• Control manufacturing costs by improving efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, statutory regulations, and promote a zero-accident workplace.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure quality, delivery, and operational excellence.
• Monitor key plant KPIs, including production, OEE, machine utilization, quality, cost, inventory, safety, and productivity.
• Prepare production budgets, capacity expansion plans, and drive strategic initiatives for sustainable business growth
