On the Rolling stock, Signaling, Telecommunications, AFC, RAMS & Operations side, Systra India is executing several design review and detailed project reports like: MRVC-CBTC (Migration of Existing Sub-Urban Transit system to CBTC), Bangalore Metro, Kolkata Metro, Pune Metro Phase II, Vijayawada MRTS and Dhaka Metro Line 5N.

Project: Appointment of General Consultant (GC) for System Works of Part of Corridor of Metro Line 5 (Thane-Bhiwandi-Kalyan), Metro Line 7A (Andheri (E) to CSIA), Metro Line 9 (Dahisar (E) to Mira Bhayander) of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA.

Missions/Main Duties

We are seeking applications for the position of Planning Engineer -K4 for GC Mumbai Metro Line 5, 7A & 9-System.

• A Planning Engineer has to prepare and manage the project schedule using Primavera P6 or MSP.
• Develops WBS, activity sequencing, and identifies the critical path.
• Monitors project progress by comparing planned vs actual work.
• Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Tracks manpower, material, and equipment productivity.
• Identifies delays and prepares recovery or mitigation plans.
• Supports delay analysis and EOT claim preparation.
• Coordinates with site team, client, and contractors for smooth execution.
• Assists in cost control, cash flow forecasting, and earned value analysis.
  
  

Profile/Skills

• Education qualification -Graduate/Diploma in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering
• Years of experience - 7/10+ Years
• Prior experience requirement -
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
