Electrical Engineering Internship in Pune, Nagpur

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented fresher to join our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) team in the Billing, Planning & Estimation function. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate to build a strong foundation in project estimation, billing processes, and project planning within the construction and infrastructure industry.

As part of the MEP billing and estimation team, you will assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works based on drawings and specifications. You will support senior engineers in preparing cost estimates, rate analysis, and material take-offs for MEP systems. You will also help in tracking project progress through bar charts, Gantt charts, and scheduling tools, and assist in preparing Running Account (RA) Bills and final bills for client submission. Additionally, you will coordinate with the site team to collect measurements and verify quantities for billing purposes, maintain and update project documentation including MIS reports, bill registers, and variation orders, and assist in vendor and subcontractor bill verification.

A good understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical installations is expected. Familiarity with BOQ preparation and quantity surveying basics is preferred. Basic knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera will be an advantage. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD drawing reading is required. Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential qualities for this role.
