As an A-rated (Outstanding) funded training partner of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), we are operation across West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand, with an excellent record of placements in various sectors and self-entrepreneurship.

We specialize in designing and delivering industry-aligned courses in high-demand sectors such as BFSI, Telecom, Tourism & Hospitality, Electronics, Apparel, and others — with a strong emphasis on upskilling and reskilling youth, women, and marginalized communities. Our placement-linked training programs ensure at least 70% employment for eligible graduates.

Our primary training facility in South Kolkata spans over 11,500 sq. ft., equipped with modern infrastructure. We also operate multiple training centers across West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand (including 4 fully residential centers in Odisha) to ensure accessibility in rural and semi-urban areas.

About the Role

 This is a full-time on-site role for a Placement Manager based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Placement Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end placement processes, including building and maintaining relationships with employers, identifying placement opportunities for students, and coordinating recruitment activities. Additional responsibilities include organizing career counseling sessions, tracking student performance, and presenting placement-related reports to stakeholders. Collaborating with internal teams to enhance students’ employability is a key aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete placement process: from identifying opportunities to coordinating recruitment drives and final onboarding
• Build and nurture strong relationships with employers across key industries
• Organize career counseling sessions, mock interviews, and employability enhancement activities
• Track student performance, placement outcomes, and generate insightful reports for stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams to boost student readiness and employability
• Conduct job market research and stay updated on industry trends

Qualifications:

• Graduate (bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, or related field preferred)
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in skill development, training, or placement roles
• Proven track record in placements within the skill development and training industry
• Strong existing network of employers in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance), Food & Hospitality (Hotels, Restaurants, etc.), Electricals / Electronics, Healthcare, and allied sectors
• Excellent verbal and written communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in career counseling, recruitment facilitation, strategic planning, and problem-solving
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, meet deadlines, and travel extensively across West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha
• Familiarity with the Eastern India job market (especially Greater Kolkata) is a plus
• Immediate joiners will be strongly preferred
