Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at Imtibish Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. in Kozhikode. The Physiotherapist will assess patients’ physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions aligned with Unani principles and overall patient care goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, planning and supervising therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation programs, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The role also involves educating patients and caregivers on posture, movement, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term recovery and wellness. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with Unani physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic treatment and participate in continuous learning and quality improvement activities within the clinic.
Qualifications

• Clinical physiotherapy skills, including patient assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic exercise prescription, and rehabilitation management.
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary physiotherapy techniques, with the ability to adapt care to diverse patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Commitment to holistic, patient-centered care and openness to integrating Unani medical principles with modern physiotherapy practices.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation, follow clinical protocols, and uphold high standards of professional ethics and safety.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution; valid registration or license as per local regulatory requirements.
• Experience in clinical or hospital-based physiotherapy practice is preferred; prior exposure to traditional or integrative medicine settings is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Kozhikode and participate in ongoing training, research, and quality improvement initiatives at Imtibish.
