Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Photo Editor role based in Surat. The Photo Editor will be responsible for selecting, organizing, and editing images from wedding shoots to create cohesive visual narratives that align with the studio’s storytelling style. Daily tasks include color correction, retouching, and enhancing images while preserving authenticity and emotional depth. The role also involves collaborating closely with photographers and videographers, maintaining consistent visual standards, managing project timelines, and preparing final assets for delivery and social media or portfolio use. The Photo Editor will support the creative team by suggesting visual improvements and ensuring all imagery meets Canonboy Productions’ quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Photo Retouching and Image Editing skills, with an eye for color, composition, and detail.
• Candidates should possess Photo Research and Photography skills to understand shot context, visual storytelling, and reference styles.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or similar).
• Candidates should possess strong visual storytelling abilities, creativity, and sensitivity to emotional nuance in images.
• Candidates should possess good time management, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment.
• Relevant experience in wedding or event photography post-production is beneficial; a portfolio demonstrating editing style and technical skills is strongly preferred.
