Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jamshedpur for a Pharmacist at e-Medix Smart Pharmacy. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, ensuring the accurate preparation and labeling of prescriptions, and providing healthcare advice to patients. Other duties include managing inventory, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, counseling customers on medication usage, maintaining records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients. The role requires strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of pharmaceuticals, prescription medications, and drug interactions
• Proficiency in inventory management, prescription accuracy verification, and safe storage practices
• Excellent communication skills for counseling patients on medications and liaising with healthcare professionals
• Customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and provide personalized care
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and modern technology systems
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
• Valid pharmacist license as per local regulatory requirements
• Prior experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred
