Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled PERN Stack Developer (PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) to join our growing team. You will work on building and scaling web applications across multiple product lines, collaborating closely with designers, QA, and project leads.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Optimize application performance, targeting sub-100ms API response times where applicable
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes promptly
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with the PERN stack
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, indexing)
• Solid understanding of Express.js and Node.js (async patterns, middleware, error handling)
• Experience building responsive UIs with React.js (hooks, state management, component architecture)
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and branching workflows
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles and authentication (JWT, OAuth)
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront)
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Exposure to Docker and containerized deployments
• Experience with real-time features (WebSockets, Socket.io)
• Knowledge of TypeScript
