Job Description

Designation : Performance Marketing Executive / Manager

Location : Hyderabad

About the company

Founded in 2023, Craft My Plate is a bulk food booking, delivery, and service platform catering to events of all sizes—from intimate gatherings of 10 guests (and soon even smaller!) to large-scale events hosting up to 1,500 people. We partner with a carefully curated network of chefs, caterers, and kitchens to deliver seamless, high-quality food experiences.

Over the past 12 months, we’ve grown 3x in revenue and expanded our team by 2.5x, all while operating exclusively in Hyderabad. With ambitious plans ahead, we’re building the foundation for rapid scale—and we’re looking for driven individuals who want to grow with us and help shape the future of Craft My Plate.

Roles & Responsibilities

This role is for someone who owns revenue through paid marketing, not just campaigns.

Your success is not measured by clicks or impressions — it’s measured by ROI, CAC, and revenue growth.

You will be expected to think like a business owner, not an execution-only marketer.

Core Responsibility: Make Ads Profitable - turn them into our business leads

You will:

  • Own end-to-end paid marketing performance
  • Decide budget allocation across channels
  • Continuously improve ROI and scalability

If performance drops, you investigate. If something works, you scale it responsibly.

What You’ll Do (In Depth)

1. Paid Media Ownership

  • Manage and scale ads across:
  • Google Search, Display & YouTube
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
  • LinkedIn (for B2B, if applicable)
  • Structure accounts properly:
  • Campaign → Ad Set → Creative logic
  • Control bids, audiences, creatives, and placements
  • Shut down low-performing campaigns quickly

Funnel Thinking (Very Important) - You don’t stop at leads.

You will: Track user journey from Ad → Landing Page → Lead → Sale

  • Identify drop-offs and fix them
  • Work with sales to understand:
  • Lead quality
  • Conversion timelines
  • Revenue attribution

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Improve conversion rates at every step
  • Run structured A/B tests on:
  • Creatives & copies
  • Headlines & CTAs
  • Landing pages & forms
  • Reduce cost without sacrificing quality

Data, Tracking & Attribution

Ensure accurate tracking across platforms

Work with:

  • GA4
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Meta Pixel & Conversion APIs
  • Validate data — no blind trust in dashboards
  • Build clarity on true ROI, not just platform-reported numbers

Budgeting & Scaling

  • Plan monthly and quarterly spends
  • Forecast performance before scaling
  • Balance growth vs efficiency
  • Control wastage and improve unit economics

Reporting & Insights

Share clear, honest performance reports

Explain:

  • Why performance went up or down
  • What actions were taken
  • What is planned next
  • Translate data into business decisions

What We Expect From You

Hard Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in performance marketing
  • Deep comfort with numbers and analysis
  • Practical understanding of:
  • CAC, LTV, ROAS, Payback Period
  • Experience managing significant ad budgets
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills

Mindset & Ownership

  • ROI-first thinking
  • Comfortable taking accountability
  • Fast decision-maker backed by data
  • No dependency on constant supervision

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

  • Startup or scale-up experience
  • Exposure to CRM & marketing automation
  • Experience aligning marketing with sales teams

How You’ll Be Measured

  • Revenue growth driven by paid marketing
  • Improvement in ROI and CAC month-on-month
  • Predictability and scalability of campaigns
  • Clarity and ownership in reporting
