Job Description
The City of Chesapeake is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to support the administration of employee and retiree health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and excellent service to our employees.
What youβll do:
- Manage benefit enrollments (new hires, life events, COBRA)
- Reconcile health benefit accounts and conduct monthly audits
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments
- Support open enrollment and maintain accurate payroll data
- Partner with HR and employees to address benefit-related questions
