Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Pay-Per-Call & Lead Generation Affiliate Manager at WhaleMaven.
The candidate will be responsible for acquiring and managing publishers, call generators, lead generators, and media buying partners for U.S.-focused Pay-Per-Call and Lead Generation campaigns. The role involves onboarding traffic partners, launching campaigns, monitoring lead and call quality, optimizing performance, and scaling profitable campaigns.
Preference will be given to candidates with an existing network of publishers, call centers, media buyers, and lead generation partners in the U.S. market.
Relevant vertical experience includes Payday Loans, Personal Loans, Home Loans/Mortgages, Auto Insurance, Home Improvement and Home Services, Travel, Automotive and Car Parts, and other high-intent consumer lead generation verticals.
This is a performance-driven role requiring a strong understanding of affiliate marketing, Pay-Per-Call, lead generation funnels, publisher management, compliance, and traffic quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and manage publishers, affiliates, call generators, lead generators, media buyers, and call centers.
- Launch and scale U.S. Pay-Per-Call and lead generation campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with publishers, buyers, advertisers, and other partners.
- Understand and manage different campaign models, including CPL, CPA, Pay-Per-Call, Ping Post, Ping Tree, RTB, and dynamic payout models.
- Monitor call and lead performance, including conversion rates, call duration, billable rates, contact rates, duplicate rates, rejection reasons, and traffic quality.
- Work with publishers to optimize targeting based on state, ZIP code, traffic source, device, schedule, and buyer demand.
- Coordinate with internal operations and technology teams for campaign setup, tracking, API integrations, call routing, DID implementation, and reporting.
- Negotiate payouts and campaign terms with publishers while maintaining campaign profitability.
- Identify new opportunities to expand existing publisher relationships across additional verticals and campaigns.
- Provide regular performance updates and actionable optimization recommendations.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in affiliate marketing, Pay-Per-Call, lead generation, publisher management, or performance marketing.
- Hands-on experience with the U.S. affiliate marketing and lead generation ecosystem.
- Existing relationships with publishers, media buyers, call generators, lead generators, are strongly preferred.
- Experience in one or more of the following verticals: Payday Loans, Personal Loans, Mortgages/Home Loans, Auto Insurance, Home Improvement, Home Services, Travel, Automotive, and Car Parts.
