Packing Coordinator

Supervision:

The Packing Coordinator position will be responsible to the Fulfillment Manager. This role will also work closely and receive operational oversight from the Sales and Production Planners.

Summary: 

As a Packing Coordinator, you will supply crucial support to the operations department, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of daily activities. You will work closely with the operations team, as well as other departments, to help with various tasks, coordinate daily packing and repacking requests, aid with various operations projects, and keep effective communication. 

The Packing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting inventory levels, meeting customer demands, and maximizing overall operational efficiency while upholding the three strategic pillars by which we operate – maximize price, maximize movement, and warehouse equilibrium.

This role also requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Packing Coordinator position is based in Wenatchee, WA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Help in the implementation and coordination of operational procedures and policies to perfect efficiency and productivity.
• Support the operations team in planning and executing projects and initiatives.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and prompt resolution of issues.
• Monitor and analyze operational processes, finding areas for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Aid in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and coordinating with operations and sales teams on any gap or excess inventory opportunities.
• Provide daily pack instructions to facilities based on collaboration with Production and Sales Planners and factoring inventory levels, average movement, sales forecasts and trends, pricing, and pending orders in the system.
• Coordinate revisions of pack instructions based on changing sales and packing dynamics.
• Review, prioritize, and communicate repack requests to warehouse facilities based on sales demands.
• Review aged inventory and slow-moving items and evaluate repack options to move those items.
