This is an exciting opportunity to connect with veterinary clinics, cultivate long-term partnerships, and play a key role in our European expansion. What You'll Do
- Conduct proactive outbound calls and virtual meetings with veterinary clinics to nurture existing relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Engage with warm leads, including past customers and interested prospects, to build trust and promote our products.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring continuous growth with the goal of establishing long-term, loyal clients.
- Collaborate closely with the UK-based sales team and support strategic initiatives to expand our presence across Europe.
- Occasionally meet clients in person, especially when requested or when the country sales manager is unavailable.
- Track activity and provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership, contributing to the overall sales strategy.
- 3-5 years of outbound sales experience, preferably in veterinary, health, or related medical sectors.
- Proven success in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Hunter mentality with a passion for sales and a drive to meet or exceed targets.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, with the ability to articulate technical and product information clearly.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a customer-first approach.
- Comfortable working independently, self-motivated, and proactive in managing your pipeline.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience within the veterinary space or familiarity with animal health products.
- Knowledge of the European veterinary industry and market trends.
- Existing network within veterinary clinics in the South Netherlands region.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new industries or technical areas with training.
- Additional language skills relevant to the region.
- Relevant sales experience in a field-based or territory management role.
- Educational background in life sciences, veterinary medicine, or related fields is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving significant sales targets and developing client relationships over 3-5 years.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Willingness to travel within the South Netherlands region for client meetings.
- Eligibility to work in the Netherlands.
- Valid driver’s license (company car allowance provided; vehicle not supplied).
