As a Key Account Manager at SmartQ, you will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and business growth. The role involves managing key client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring seamless service delivery. Roles and responsibilities:
Site & F&B Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end Food & Beverage operations, including cafeteria, pantry, and catering services, ensuring smooth and efficient daily functioning.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in compliance with established food safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Coordinate and manage vendors, suppliers, and kitchen teams to ensure timely service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Monitor daily operations, inventory levels, and cost management to optimize service quality while maintaining budget control.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client account, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between the client and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by understanding their expectations, operational requirements, and business objectives.
- Drive client satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring consistent service quality.
- Prepare and present reports, insights, and improvement plans to provide visibility into performance and recommend actions for enhancing service delivery.
Events & Pop-Ups Execution
- Plan and execute food events, themed dining experiences, and pop-ups to enhance engagement and overall dining experience.
- Collaborate with chefs, vendors, and marketing teams to ensure effective planning and coordination.
- Manage and oversee the smooth execution of corporate events and special activations.
- Monitor event performance, collect feedback, and track success metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Employee Engagement Initiatives
- Design and implement engaging Food & Beverage–led employee experiences to enhance workplace engagement.
- Introduce new food concepts, cuisines, and promotional initiatives to keep the dining experience fresh and appealing.
- Collaborate with HR and employee engagement teams to plan and execute food-related campaigns and activities.
- Contribute to improving the overall workplace experience by creating innovative and enjoyable food programs.
Financial & Performance Management
- Oversee the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the assigned site or account, ensuring financial performance aligns with business objectives.
- Optimize operational costs while maintaining high standards of service quality and efficiency. • Monitor key performance indicators such as footfall, sales performance, and customer satisfaction to assess operational effectiveness.
- Identify and implement innovative offerings and initiatives to drive revenue growth.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and mentor on-site teams, including supervisors and service staff, to ensure effective operations and service delivery.
- Ensure adequate staffing, training, and performance management to maintain high productivity and service standards.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work culture within the team.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in Food & Beverage, hospitality, or corporate dining operations. • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end F&B operations, event management, and client relationship management.
- Proven ability to independently manage large sites or key accounts and ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with mandatory fluency in English.
- Strong operational, financial management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in planning and executing events, pop-ups, and employee engagement activities is required.
- Experience working in corporate F&B environments, co-working spaces, or large campus setups is preferred.
- Exposure to multi-vendor environments with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
