Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive (BDE) role based in Bengaluru. The BDE will identify and qualify new business opportunities in telecom, networking, and IT services, build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through closing. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, making outbound calls and visits, preparing and presenting proposals, coordinating with technical teams to align solutions with customer requirements, and supporting contract negotiations. The role also involves tracking sales metrics, preparing regular reports, participating in client meetings and industry events, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience in line with SIFOCOM’s service commitments.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and deal closing.
- Ability to build and manage client relationships, with effective presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Basic understanding of telecom, networking, cloud, and IT services; ability to learn and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Solid communication skills in English (written and verbal), with clear, professional interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, office productivity software, and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
- Proactive, target-driven mindset with strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience in B2B technology or IT sales is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru and travel for client meetings or events as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification: Prospect and qualify leads via cold calling, emails, and digital outreach.
- Consultative Selling: Counsel prospective learners or institutional partners, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable courses or learning solutions.
- Demos & Proposals: Deliver engaging product presentations and negotiate commercial proposals.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales KPIs and revenue targets.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of the sales pipeline, lead statuses, and forecasts in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and onboarding teams to ensure seamless customer transition and retention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a relevant field.
- Proven track record of hitting sales quotas in a fast-paced edtech or startup environment.
- Exceptional communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and lead tracking tools.
- Both B2B and B2C needed.
Pay by Experience
- 0–1 Years: ₹3.0 LPA – ₹3.8 LPA
- 1–3 Years: ₹3.3 LPA – ₹4.5 LPA
