Job Description

Role: Program Manager - Factory

Location: Hosur Factory

Reporting To: Senior Manager, Program

Team Name: Program Management Team

Responsibilities

Build consensus among cross-functional "swimlanes" to define goals that align directly with organizational OKRs.
Drive the delivery of project goals through a highly collaborative approach across multiple workstreams.
Identify and neutralize roadblocks to ensure execution stays on track without compromising on Scope or Quality.
Proactively identify gaps in established workflows and implement continuous improvements.
Provide timely alerts on project risks with detailed mitigation plans. Your ability to bridge functional gaps and resolve daily impediments is critical to the team’s efficiency.

Experience And Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech with a total experience of 7-11 yrs
PMP Certification will be a definite plus but not mandatory
Knowing of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus but not mandatory

Must have competencies

Proven track record in New Product Development or New Product Industrialization within the automotive industry.
Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing operations, including Vehicle, Battery, and Electronics Assembly (Paintshop experience is a plus).
Proficiency in ERP systems, IoT integration, and Factory Material Management.
Prior experience in establishing new manufacturing facilities (Greenfield projects) is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience in onsite coordination with both internal teams and external partners.
Expertise in setting up and implementing new operational processes and information flow architectures.

Good to have competencies

A robust understanding of manufacturing environments, process design, and NPI lifecycles.
Deep know-how of factory information flows and their underlying dependencies.
Demonstrated proficiency in Risk Management, Change Management, Lean principles, and Negotiation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-velocity environment with shifting priorities.
A self-starter and "go-getter" with high levels of ownership and a focus on closure.
Ability to map and manage complex dependencies across internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail—because the devil is in the details!
