Role Overview

We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for an Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing site through transformation and operational growth. This role involves overseeing production, improving operational efficiency, and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site operations strategy in alignment with business objectives
• Drive operational KPIs including cost, quality, service, and efficiency
• Develop and coach teams to achieve performance goals
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and regulatory standards
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on site-wide transformation initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or similar operational environments
• Experience managing teams and delivering results through others
• Technical or operational background with knowledge of CI tools (Lean, Six Sigma)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Legally authorized to work in the UK
