Job Title: Temporary Part-Time Operations Coordinator (Audiobook Partnerships & Licensing)
Location: Remote
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Full-Time Conversion)
Schedule: Part-Time (~20 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $25–$33/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Operations Coordinator to support our Audiobook Partnerships & Licensing team on a temporary, part-time basis. This role will focus on managing administrative and operational workflows that support day-to-day business functions and ensure process continuity.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing recurring operational tasks, and able to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment. This position will play an important role in helping the broader team maintain efficiency and focus on strategic initiatives.
This opportunity may evolve into a longer-term or full-time position based on business needs and individual performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update internal lists, trackers, and datasets, including regular audits for accuracy and completeness
- Provide shared inbox support by triaging, responding to, and routing incoming requests
- Assist with onboarding new imprints and managing associated data workflows
- Support recurring operational activities, including month-end and quarterly processes
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across administrative and operational workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to improve documentation and streamline processes
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and operational organization
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail)
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools; experience with Coda is a plus
- Comfortable handling repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Strong written communication and inbox management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a remote, part-time environment
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting operations, publishing, licensing, rights management, or similar workflows
- Exposure to book publishing or audiobook industry environments
- Familiarity with process documentation and workflow optimization
- Exposure to AI tools, technology platforms, or digital operations environments
Schedule & Flexibility
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling available depending on candidate availability
- Preference for candidates who can work within or overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours
