About the Company



We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Office Manager to support our Mumbai operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable wearing many hats. As one of the first hires in our India office, you will be instrumental in establishing processes, supporting leadership, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is not a narrowly defined role—success in this position requires flexibility, strong time management, and a willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities as business needs evolve.


About the Role


Office Operations & Administration

  • Set up and maintain office infrastructure, including workstations, supplies, and vendor coordination
  • Manage office inventory, procurement, and relationships with local vendors and service providers
  • Ensure the office is organized, functional, and aligned with company standards
  • Handle incoming correspondence, shipments, and general administrative tasks


Responsibilities

  • Manage executive calendars, scheduling, and coordination across time zones
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including visas, accommodations, and itineraries
  • Support onboarding of new employees (workspace setup, coordination, documentation)
  • Assist leadership with ad hoc requests and operational needs
  • Plan and coordinate internal meetings, client visits, and company events
  • Organize logistics including venues, catering, materials, and schedules
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and external partners
  • Take ownership of a wide variety of tasks—no task is too small or too large
  • Help establish and improve office processes and procedures
  • Support basic HR, finance, and compliance coordination as needed
  • Act as a key problem-solver for day-to-day operational challenges


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience


Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in office management, administration, or similar roles
  • Experience in a startup or rapidly growing environment is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional local languages a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common business tools


Preferred

Position is paying 15-18 lakhs/year. Candidates must be comfortable with that rate.
