About The Role
We are looking for someone who can serve as a trusted operational presence in the Pune office and help ensure the workplace runs smoothly for our growing team. The ideal candidate is a seasoned operations professional who brings strong leadership, a steady hand with budgets, and the ability to mentor and guide a predominantly junior team. You will own the day-to-day functioning of our Pune office while driving operational improvements that support Vcheck's global standards.

About The Role

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead all aspects of daily office operations, setting the standard for efficiency, professionalism, and accountability across the Pune location
- Own office budgets and cost controls — track expenditures, identify savings opportunities, and deliver regular financial reporting to leadership
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding office needs, workplace concerns, and operational processes
- Help foster a professional, organized, and collaborative office environment that reflects Vcheck's culture and values
- Support leadership in maintaining operational standards and processes across departments
- Mentor and guide junior team members, serving as a reliable resource for professional development and day-to-day problem-solving
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement to ensure cost-effective service delivery
- Coordinate with global teams to align Pune office operations with company-wide standards and initiatives
- Develop, implement, and refine office policies and SOPs that improve workflow and reduce operational friction
- Oversee facilities management, including workspace planning, maintenance coordination, and health & safety compliance
Key requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in office management, operations management, or a related leadership role
- Proven experience managing office budgets, cost controls, and vendor negotiations
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior team members in a professional setting
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working in a global or multi-location company with cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and operational tools (Slack, Asana, or similar)
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a track record of improving processes and reducing costs
- Experience in a fast-paced tech, startup, or professional services environment preferred
