Company Description Edelweizz Pediatric Therapy Center, in collaboration with Twinklezz Paediatric Center, provides holistic support for children with developmental, behavioral, communication, and learning challenges. Located in Sarjapur, Bangalore, the center offers a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where each child’s unique growth is celebrated. A multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based interventions across Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Special Education, and Early Intervention programs. Family involvement is central to Edelweizz’s approach, with therapists working closely with parents to ensure continuity and meaningful progress. The vision is to combine clinical excellence with warmth and child-centered care so children feel accepted, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized therapy programs for children with developmental and functional challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed evaluations, designing and delivering goal-oriented intervention plans, and using play-based and functional activities to improve motor, sensory, cognitive, and self-care skills. The role involves documenting progress, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and providing guidance and training to families to support carryover of strategies at home and school. The Occupational Therapist will participate in case discussions, contribute to early intervention plans, and maintain accurate, timely clinical records. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and pediatric-focused therapeutic techniques.
- Knowledge of Pediatrics and child development, with experience working with children with developmental, behavioral, or learning challenges.
- Understanding of Rehabilitation principles, functional independence training, and multidisciplinary care approaches.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues, including the ability to explain therapeutic goals and strategies clearly.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from an accredited institution; relevant registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Experience in pediatric therapy settings, early intervention, or special needs care is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, demonstrate empathy, and adapt interventions to diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Strong documentation, time-management, and organizational skills, with commitment to evidence-based and ethical practice.
