About The Role
The Occupational Health Nurse at P&G Health Limited plays a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees across the Mumbai corporate office and sales workforce dispersed throughout India. This position involves providing comprehensive health services, conducting health assessments, and developing initiatives aimed at promoting a safe and healthy work environment. The role requires a proactive approach to health management, including primary care, health promotion, and risk assessment, with a focus on enhancing employee productivity and engagement. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with management, safety teams, and healthcare professionals to implement occupational health programs, emergency preparedness plans, and compliance strategies aligned with regulatory standards. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a BSc Nursing or GNM Nursing qualification with an active and valid license/registration from the Maharashtra Nursing Council. Preference will be given to candidates holding postgraduate certificates, diplomas, or degrees in healthcare management, which demonstrate additional expertise in health program administration and strategic planning. A minimum of two years of prior experience working in an occupational health setting or industrial health center is essential, with demonstrated proficiency in managing health concerns related to workplace environments. Candidates should have a solid understanding of disaster management, hazard recognition, and risk assessment principles, along with excellent communication skills, particularly in empathic communication and interpersonal interactions. Knowledge of occupational health laws and regulations, medical terminology, and medical testing procedures is required. The ability to analyze health data, contribute to health and productivity improvements, and operate within multidisciplinary teams is critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments and provide primary care for work-related injuries and illnesses, adhering to established medical testing protocols.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate occupational health programs to promote employee well-being and prevent workplace hazards.
- Support business objectives by designing and executing impactful employee engagement initiatives focused on health and safety.
- Collaborate with management and safety teams on hazard recognition, risk assessment, and creating safer work environments.
- Lead and participate in disaster preparedness and disaster management initiatives, including the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
- Provide empathetic communication and counseling to employees regarding health concerns, work-related stress, and return-to-work programs.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health laws and regulations, maintaining accurate and confidential medical records.
- Apply advanced occupational health practice principles to guide decision-making and service delivery.
- Contribute to enhancing overall health and productivity through proactive health promotion and preventative measures.
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve shared goals.
