Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nursing Trainer role based in Alappuzha. The Nursing Trainer will deliver classroom and practical training sessions, following defined curricula and standards to prepare learners for nursing and healthcare roles. Responsibilities include planning lesson outlines, teaching clinical and non-clinical nursing skills, demonstrating procedures, and supervising practice sessions to ensure learner competency. The role involves assessing learner performance, providing constructive feedback, maintaining training records, and supporting exam preparation and certification processes. The Nursing Trainer will also collaborate with the academy team to update training materials, align content with current healthcare protocols, and participate in placement support activities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in nursing practice, including clinical skills, patient care procedures, and basic healthcare protocols.
• Experience in training, mentoring, or teaching, with the ability to conduct structured classroom and practical sessions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to explain concepts clearly and guide learners with diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to assess learner performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate training and evaluation documentation.
• Familiarity with current nursing standards, infection control practices, and ethical patient care guidelines.
• Comfort with using basic computers and digital tools for lesson planning, content delivery, and record keeping.
• Relevant nursing qualification (e.g., GNM, B.Sc Nursing) from a recognized institution; registration with the appropriate nursing council is preferred.
• Prior work experience in a clinical or hospital setting; experience in training or academic roles in nursing is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Alappuzha, manage schedules, and coordinate with the academy’s academic and placement teams.
