Job Description
The Nurse Manager oversees unit operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency under the Nurse Director’s guidance.
- Coordinates staffing, admission planning, and surge response strategies, collaborating with supervisors and leadership to adjust for census and acuity needs.
- Supports staff development through onboarding, education, and certification, fostering a culture of professionalism and service excellence aligned with ICARE values.
- Manages problem-solving, compliance, and resource utilization, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and budget constraints.
- Promotes employee and physician engagement, teamwork, and a positive work environment through leadership and communication.
- Requires at least 3 years of clinical experience, RN licensure, an associate's degree (bachelor’s preferred), and leadership experience. Full-time, varies schedule, based at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.
