Company Description SmartTerra enables water utilities to provide uninterrupted water supply services to citizens sustainably and economically. By leveraging cloud-hosted analytics and mobile-app-based field-task management, SmartTerra helps utilities locate leaky pipes and incorrect meters to reduce losses using proprietary AI/ML algorithms. The company has multiple pilots and projects underway in India, Southeast Asia and West Asia. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a NRW (Non-Revenue Water) Engineer located in multiple locations in India. The NRW Engineer will be responsible for analyzing network and consumer data using SmartTerra's AI powered NRW reduction tools to identify loss issues, implementing strategies to reduce NRW, conducting field inspections, and coordinating with field teams. The engineer will use data analytics to support decision-making processes and ensure the sustainability and efficiency of water utility operations. Qualifications Experience (2 to 8 years) in water distribution systems and NRW management Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work with field teams Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Knowledge of working with tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, EPANET, etc is a plus Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or related field
