We are seeking a skilled and experienced Non-Ferrous Supervisor to lead and manage our non-ferrous operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, training, and guiding all team members within the department while ensuring safety of employees.You will oversee daily operations, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure products consistently meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

What you will do

Develop, lead, train, and discipline all employees within department.
Ensure compliance in safety, environment, and personnel issues that may arise.
Manage inventory on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Achieve established goals for labor, uptime, quality, and safety.
Ensure product is consistent with customer specifications.
Confirm quality and recovery. Maintain accurate inventory.
Ability to work with and understand margin reports.
All other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

What we look for

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train and motivate others.
Understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50lbs or more as required.
Minimum of five years supervisory or lead experience in an industrial setting.
Knowledge of Environmental best management practices.
