Node.js Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Write clean, efficient JavaScript (ES6+) code.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Work with SQL-based databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) or integrate via APIs.
• Implement business logic, validations, and error handling.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Express.js or similar Node frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST API development.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle).
• Understanding of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth basics).
• Familiarity with Git version control.

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Exposure to TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of Docker & CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
• Experience in MVC / service-based architecture.
