New Product Development Manager

Job Summary:

The Chief Manager – New Product Development will spearhead initiatives to create innovative products and processes that enhance the company’s portfolio. This position is vital in aligning product development efforts with customer requirements, promoting quality and cost-effectiveness across the TTB unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new products by monitoring emerging technologies relevant to TTB.
• Conduct competitor analysis to stay abreast of new developments and product launches.
• Collaborate with business managers to identify new product opportunities.
• Prepare development roadmaps and implement trial plans, ensuring quality aligns with customer specifications.
• Coordinate joint projects with research institutes to foster innovation and research capabilities.
• Oversee basic research on special additives and materials to enhance product functional properties.
• Guide teams in exploring innovative techniques and foster a culture of systematic innovation.

Requirements:

• B.Tech/B.E. / M.Tech/M.E (Textiles) candidates with 10-15 years of experience will be the desired fit.
• Strong experience in Technical Textiles and Technical Product Developments.
• Strong strategic thinking abilities and a customer-centric approach.
• Proven experience in managing budgets and project planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Analytical decision-making skills with a focus on quality and performance metrics.
• Capability to lead and motivate a diverse team while fostering a culture of innovation.
