We are looking for a hands-on NPD Head who can take ownership of the entire new product development function — from customer drawing to final production.
This is a core execution + leadership role, ideal for someone with 3–5 years of strong NPD experience who is ready to take independent ownership, drive timelines, and act as the single point of accountability for all development projects.Key Responsibilities:1. End-to-End NPD Ownership
Lead complete new product development lifecycle from RFQ/drawing stage to mass production
Act as SPOC for all new development projects

2. Technical Evaluation & Feasibility
Review customer drawings (2D/3D) and conduct feasibility analysi
sDrive DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and coordinate Moldflow analysis. Ensure designs are optimized for cost, quality, and manufacturability
3. Tool Development Leadership
Work closely with tool room for mould design and development Finalize:Gate location & type Cooling system design Ejection & slider mechanisms
4. Trials, Validation & PPAP
Lead trial runs, sample development, and correcti
onsEnsure successful first-time approvals from customers. Oversee PPAP documentation and submission
5. Cross-Functional Coordinat
ion
Coordinate with:
Production (process readiness)
Quality (inspection & approvals)
Purchase/vendors (tooling & materials)
Ensure smooth transition from development to production
6. Process Improvement & Cost Optimization
Identify opportunities for:
Cycle time reduction
Material optimization
Design improvements
Reduce development delays and rejections
Required Qualifications:
Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Polymer Engineering
Experience: 3–5 years in plastic injection moulding NPD, preferably in automotive/OEM Components

Core Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of: Injection moulding Plastic materials, Tool design fundamentals
• Experience with:DFM & Moldflow coordinationPPAP & OEM development processes
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks / AutoCAD/ Creo)Excellent project ownership and follow-up ability
