Network Switching & Routing Engineer

Role: Network Switching & Routing Engineer (CCNP/CCIE level) role, with emphasis on troubleshooting

Location: Pune or Nagpur office

Experience: 5+ years

Work Timings: US EST timings (06:30 pm to 03:30 am IST)

Job Description:

• Expert-level knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts including VLANs, STP (RSTP/MST), EtherChannel, ARP, routing protocols HSRP/VRRP, and multicast.
• Overall 8+ years of experience. Very good communication skill required.
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex switching issues such as STP loops, broadcast storms, MAC flapping, VLAN mismatches, trunking errors, port-security violations, and asymmetric routing
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise and data center switching platforms (e.g., Cisco Catalyst/Meraki, Juniper) and deep understanding of control-plane vs. data-plane behavior.
• Ability to perform packet-level analysis using tools such as Wireshark, SPAN/ERSPAN, and CLI-based debugging commands to isolate root cause quickly.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting high-availability architectures (stacking, VSS, vPC, MLAG, redundant core/distribution designs).
• CCNP or CCIE certification (Routing & Switching / Enterprise Infrastructure) preferred, with demonstrated ability to handle critical incidents in large-scale enterprise environments.
