Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nagpur for a Network Security Engineer Level 2. The engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining security systems and protocols across the company’s network infrastructure. Duties include conducting security assessments, managing firewalls, ensuring compliance with security policies, resolving security incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to enhance overall network security. The role also involves continuously analyzing and improving the security posture of the organization to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Network Security principles, including firewall management, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
  • Experience with Cybersecurity tools, protocols, and concepts such as vulnerability assessments, threat mitigation, and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing security policies, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Strong knowledge of Networking (LAN/WAN), IP protocols, and routing protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
  • Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and network forensics tools.
  • Relevant credentials like CEH, CISSP, or CCNP (Security) are advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
