Network Engineer

My client is hiring for a Network Engineer (1–3 years experience) to support latency-sensitive trading infrastructure. The role involves working on production trading systems, network performance, and Linux-based infrastructure within a fast-paced financial markets environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize network performance and troubleshoot outages
• Support production trading environments including colo and data center infrastructure
• Administer firewalls and VPNs (Cisco ASA / Palo Alto)
• Provide networking support for Linux-based trading servers
• Work with multicast protocols (PIM, IGMP) and routing technologies

Requirements

• 1–3 years of networking experience
• CCNA / CCNP (Routing & Switching) preferred
• Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching, VPNs, and Firewalls
• Experience with Linux systems and basic Shell/Python scripting
• Exposure to AWS and monitoring tools is a plus
• Ability to work in high-pressure production environments
