Job Description

A leading IT infrastructure and network services organisation operating in the Enterprise Networking & Telecommunications sector, focused on delivering resilient, secure, and high-performance LAN/WAN solutions for corporate and data-centre environments.

We hire on-site network engineering professionals across India to design, deploy, and maintain mission-critical network infrastructure that supports cloud connectivity, business applications, and real-time services.

Primary job title: Network Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and data-center interconnects.
Implement and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF) to ensure optimal path selection and resiliency.
Configure and manage VPNs (IPsec/MPLS) and firewall policies to enforce secure site-to-site and remote access connectivity.
Perform root-cause analysis for network incidents, lead post-incident reviews, and implement corrective actions to reduce recurrence.
Operate network monitoring and observability systems (SNMP/NetFlow) to maintain SLA compliance and proactively identify performance issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard new services, perform capacity planning, and support change-control activities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS networking equipment
Practical experience with Juniper Junos platforms
Deep knowledge of BGP and OSPF routing protocols
Working knowledge of MPLS architectures and IPsec VPNs
Experience with firewall technologies (Cisco ASA / FTD)
Familiarity with SNMP and network monitoring tools

Preferred

Exposure to network automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting)
Knowledge of data-centre networking (VXLAN, EVPN)
Hands-on experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure VPC connectivity)
