Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Pune Division for a Network Architect specializing in F5 (ASM-LTM) & Palo Alto. The Network Architect will design, implement, and optimize network solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Daily responsibilities include configuring and maintaining F5 Big-IP solutions (ASM/LTM), managing Palo Alto Networks' firewalls, troubleshooting network issues, and contributing to the organization’s overall network architecture strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance network performance and security is a key aspect of this role.

Role Summary
Architecture & Service Design
- Define standard reference architectures for managed firewall, SD-WAN, VPN, WAF, and load-balancing services.
- Design multi-tenant, scalable, repeatable architectures across customers.
- Own HLD/LLD templates used by delivery and operations teams.
- Ensure architectures align with SLA, RTO, RPO, and supportability constraints.
Platform Ownership (Critical)
- Act as technical owner for:
- Palo Alto (NGFW, Panorama, VM-Series)
- Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SD-WAN)
- F5 BIG-IP (LTM, ASM/WAF, APM)
- Define:
- HA standards
- Upgrade and patching strategy
- Backup and rollback models
- Eliminate snowflake deployments.
Operations & Escalation
- Serve as escalation point (L3) for complex incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for P1/P2 incidents.
- Fix architecture-level problems, not symptoms.
- Reduce recurring incidents through design correction.
SLA & Service Governance
- Design services to meet or exceed SLAs (availability, latency, security).
- Define KPIs and SLOs for network and security services.
- Participate in:
- Service reviews
- Incident reviews
- Customer technical governance calls
Multi-Customer & Multi-Vendor Complexity
- Handle dozens of customer environments with different constraints.
- Design coexistence of Palo Alto + Fortinet + F5 in shared environments.
- Balance security, cost, and operability — not vendor purity.
Required Experience (Hard Filters)
You must have:
- 10+ years in network/security engineering
- 5+ years in managed services or MSP environment
- Proven ownership of 24×7 production environments
- Deep hands-on experience with:
- Palo Alto Networks
- Fortinet
- F5 BIG-IP
- Strong routing expertise: BGP, OSPF
- Real-world troubleshooting experience under SLA pressure
Certifications (Strongly Preferred):
- PCNSE
- NSE 7 / NSE 8
- F5-CA / F5-CTS
