Job Summary

We are seeking a NetApp Storage Engineer with strong experience in Storage Support and Backup technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in supporting complex storage and backup environments, including SAN, NAS, and enterprise backup solutions. This role involves working in highly secure, highly available data center environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize storage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for Storage & Backup systems, including SAN, NAS, and enterprise backup platforms. Manage and support NetApp storage environments, Tintri storage systems, and NetBackup solutions. Operate in complex, highly secure datacenter environments ensuring storage availability and performance. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve storage and backup-related incidents and problems. Respond to and resolve incident and problem management tickets within defined SLAs. Work closely with infrastructure and application teams to maintain storage and backup architecture. Document system configurations, architecture, and troubleshooting procedures. Participate in change management processes and ensure proper documentation. Conduct root cause analysis for outages and provide recommendations for improvement. Participate in Service Improvement Meetings following incidents or outages. Mentor junior team members and help establish ITIL-based operational procedures and best practices. Collaborate with other technology teams to develop Infrastructure Building Blocks and Reference Architectures. Improve and standardize operational processes for storage and backup systems. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents in the tracking tool.

Preferred Skills Experience with data center operations and infrastructure management Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong documentation and communication skills
