About the Role We are looking for an experienced .NET Backend Developer to join our team and work on a high-impact UK-based project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in backend development, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to collaboration with international stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend systems using .NET Core / .NET 6+. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Work closely with UK-based product owners, business analysts, and frontend teams. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data privacy standards. Required Skills & Experience 3?5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+. Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles. Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases (query optimization, stored procedures). Strong experience in REST API development and integration. Familiarity with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks. Working knowledge of Azure / AWS cloud services is a plus. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with UK-based teams. Nice to Have Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or microservices architecture. Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments. Understanding of unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, etc.).
