Job Description

About The Role

We are hiring AI Engineers to build agentic, decision-driven AI systems that power Neo's conversational interfaces, assistants, and execution workflows.

This is not a chatbot or prompt-engineering role.

You will work on AI systems that interpret intent, orchestrate tools, enforce guardrails, and fail safely in a regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build agent-based AI workflows
  • Implement hybrid systems combining Classical ML +Generative AI
  • Design tool-calling, validation, and fallback mechanisms
  • Integrate AI with OMS, portfolios, reporting, and alerts
  • Ensure AI behavior is explainable, auditable, and compliant
  • Own system behavior during failures and ambiguity

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience building production AI / ML systems
  • Backend engineering fundamentals (Python / APIs / services)
  • Experience deploying models or AI services behind Flask or Fast APIs
  • Understanding of evaluation beyond accuracy (precision, latency, cost)
  • Comfortable debugging failures in live environments

Good To Have

  • Financial or time-series data exposure
  • Experience with risk, alerts, or decision systems
  • Event-driven or real-time systems experience
