Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Navisworks Developer to join our team and support the development, customization, and integration of Navisworks-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Autodesk Navisworks, strong programming skills, and a deep understanding of BIM workflows, 3D model coordination, and computational geometry. Key Responsibilities Develop custom plugins, scripts, and automation tools for Navisworks using .NET (C#) or other relevant technologies. Integrate Navisworks with other BIM tools and enterprise systems (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Forge, Power BI). Create clash detection rules and manage coordination models. Optimize model performance and streamline workflows for large-scale projects. Work with Brep and Mesh geometry to enhance model analysis and visualization. Apply computational geometry techniques to improve spatial analysis and model manipulation. Collaborate with BIM/VDC teams to understand project requirements and deliver technical solutions. Provide technical support and training to internal teams on Navisworks functionalities and custom tools. Maintain documentation for developed tools and processes. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience with Autodesk Navisworks Manage and Simulate. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with BIM tools like Revit, AutoCAD, and Dynamo. Familiarity with Autodesk Forge API and cloud-based BIM workflows. Strong understanding of clash detection, 4D simulation, and model coordination. Experience working with Brep and Mesh geometry in 3D modeling environments. Knowledge of computational geometry concepts and their application in BIM. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry. Knowledge of IFC standards and BIM interoperability. Experience with project management tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
