Role Description
We are seeking a full-time National Sales Manager for a hybrid role based in New Delhi. The candidate will lead nationwide sales teams, develops strategic plans, and oversees operations to achieve company growth targets. Key duties include setting sales targets, mentoring regional managers, managing key accounts, and conducting sales forecasts. They require strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills to maximize market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement national sales strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve company goals.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage regional sales teams, ensuring high performance and motivation.
- Target Achievement: Set and monitor sales targets, forecasts, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, stakeholders, and partners.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure product availability and consistent customer engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a National Sales Manager or senior sales role, often within a specific industry.
- Leadership: Strong supervisory and team-building skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, create forecasts, and identify areas for improvement.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for negotiation and client interaction.
- Mobility: Ability to travel extensively.
- Strong skills in Account Management and fostering customer relationships to drive client satisfaction
- Proven experience in Sales and achieving organizational revenue targets
- Proficiency in Team Management, including mentoring, guiding, and motivating sales teams for optimal performance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
