The Storage Administrator – Associate is responsible for day-to-day operational support of enterprise storage services in an outsourced / managed services model. The role focuses on creating and managing file shares, applying quotas and permissions, supporting data migrations and cutovers, provisioning block (SAN) storage and S3/object storage, and executing standard changes and incident tasks in line with defined runbooks. Working with senior team members and other infrastructure teams, this role helps ensure storage services remain stable, secure, and performant for business applications.

- Execute standard change requests and keep configuration and CMDB records updated.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and vendor teams for issue resolution.

- ITIL® Foundation (IT Service Management).
- Entry-level or associate-level storage/vendor certifications (e.g., Dell EMC, Pure Storage, NetApp, or equivalent).
- Cloud certifications with storage components (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level, Azure Fundamentals/Administrator).
- 2–4 years in storage operations in an enterprise or managed services environment.
- Hands-on experience with file shares, ACLs/permissions, and quotas.
- Basic understanding of SAN/block and S3/object storage concepts and provisioning steps.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management.
- Ability to follow detailed runbooks with strong attention to detail and documentation.
- Exposure to scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for distributed/team-based work.
- Demonstrates familiarity with enterprise NAS platforms (e.g., Dell, NetApp, or equivalent).
- Demonstrates exposure to SAN environments and basic LUN/zoning support.
- Demonstrates experience assisting with storage migrations and cutovers.
- Demonstrates familiarity with S3 or S3-compatible object storage services.
- Demonstrates ability to use storage/capacity tools and contribute to documentation.
- Demonstrates strong customer-service orientation in an outsourced support model.
