Job Description

Main Responsibilities

Experiences in Installing, configuring and troubleshooting of Firewalls ( Fortigate/Sophos) -

Interfaces, Routing, NATing, Policies, VPN - SSL, Site to Site, UTM features - Webfilter,

Application Filter, IPS.

Experiences in Installing, Configuring and troubleshooting switches - Vlan, Trunking, Vlan

Interfaces, Routing, DHCP, Port security, Spanning tree

Understanding about different type of internet connectivity and configurations
Understanding about Routers - Static & dynamic Routing, Routing Protocols, OSPF, BGP.
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, Nagios, and

SolarWinds

Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems and solve

complex problems.

Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
Knowledge of public, private, and hybrid cloud computing networks and security such as

Microsoft (Azure), Amazon (AWS) environments

Knowledge of WAF solutions is an added advantage.
IT service management (ITIL) processes familiarity (e.g., change, service request, problem,

incident)

Experiences in installing, Configuring and troubleshooting wireless access point and controllers.
Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and

compliance with industry standards.

General Responsibilities

Maintain and update configuration documents.
Maintain assets and software license / subscriptions.
Vendor co-ordination and support
Maintain SLAs and do timely escalations.
Report all incident/service/change requests in helpdesk tool.
Provide after hour support in case of emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance.

Qualification
