Merchandising Assistant

Spencer’s Retail, part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka (RPSG) Group, is a multi-format Indian retailer across fashion, home, electronics, and groceries. We are seeking an individual for our E-Comm department with strong experience in online merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

As a Merchandising professional in our E-Comm department, you will independently manage end-to-end online merchandising operations for the E-Commerce platform, including article pricing, product listing and enrichment, inventory visibility, and stock management. The role involves tracking and analyzing multiple dashboards, conducting regular benchmarking against market and competitors, and ensuring effective online merchandising to drive visibility, conversions, and overall business performance.

● Manage online product listings to ensure correct details are displayed on the e-commerce platform.

● Assist in setting and updating product prices as per company guidelines.

● Monitor stock availability and ensure products are visible and available online.

● Regularly check dashboards and reports to track sales, stock, and performance.

● Add new products and update existing articles in the system.

● Support basic competitor and market checks to understand pricing and product trends.

● Ensure proper online merchandising to improve product visibility and customer experience.

Experience/Skills Required

➢ Must have 0.5-1 year of experience (Internship experience counts)

➢ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant digital platforms
