Company Description Ghoshi Multispeciality Clinic is a patient-focused specialty clinic located in P & T Nagar, Madurai, offering comprehensive care across multiple disciplines. Role Description The Medical Officer will provide direct clinical care to patients, including history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, and treatment across relevant specialties, with a primary focus on general medical needs. Responsibilities include prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, coordinating referrals to ENT, Nephrology, Surgery, and Orthopedic specialists, and ensuring continuity of care. The role involves maintaining detailed and accurate medical records, adhering to clinical protocols, and contributing to quality and safety standards within the clinic. The Medical Officer will also participate in patient education, basic clinical procedures, and support internal training activities for clinical and support staff. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Medicine with the ability to manage common outpatient and minor emergency conditions.
  • Demonstrated Patient Care skills, including empathetic communication, clinical decision-making, and follow-up management.
  • Experience in Training healthcare staff or mentoring junior clinicians and support teams.
  • Ability to perform or assist in minor Surgery and clinical procedures within scope of practice.
  • Comfort Working with Physicians and specialists in ENT, Nephrology, General Surgery, and Orthopedics as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.
  • Knowledge of clinical protocols, infection control, and ethical medical practice in a clinic or hospital setting.
  • Strong documentation skills and familiarity with using medical records systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, handle patient volume, and adapt to a busy outpatient environment.
  • Prior experience in a multispeciality clinic or hospital setting is an advantage.
